This is what my grandmother( Mrs Amrawati Subba age 60 yrs).. After her Robotic partial nephrectomy surgery in apollo hospital. .. As she had a cancerous tumour in her left kidney. . She was in tears when the histopatholgy report of tumour arrived and the surgeon Dr ashish sabarwal checked the report and we were blessed to find out that we were successfull to remove the entire tumour and there was not even a microscopical trace of cancer. .it was a detailed surgery. And we were able to save both the kidneys . .where as the doctors we consulted before said we wud have to part away with one kidney.. My grandmother folded her Hand and blessed doctor ashish sabarwal and Dr ashok sarin(nephrologist) that they are "God" For her. . And I wud like to recommend robotic surgery as the best upgraded level of surgery than the traditional method. .as it heals sooner .. Less chances of infection.. And less labourious.
